Terms of use

1. The service
VDF ("we") offers a website at vdf.best and an Android app that help you save publicly available Facebook videos, photos and audio to your own device. The service is provided free of charge, "as is", without any guarantee that it will always work or work for every link.
2. Your responsibilities
- Download only content you own, or that you have the right or the permission to save.
- Respect copyright, the creators' rights and the laws of your country. Do not re-upload or sell content that is not yours.
- Do not use the service in an automated way (bots, scrapers, bulk requests) or try to disrupt it.
3. No affiliation with Facebook or Meta
VDF is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Facebook" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. and is used here only to describe which links the service works with.
4. Copyright complaints
VDF does not host videos or photos: files are downloaded directly from Facebook's servers to the user's device. If you believe the service is being used to infringe your rights, write to [email protected] with the link concerned and proof of your rights, and we will respond.
5. Privacy
When you use the website, the link you paste is sent to our server so it can fetch the public Facebook page and find the files. We do not need your name, e-mail or Facebook account. Results are kept in a short cache for about ten minutes so repeated requests are fast, and we do not keep a lasting record of the links you download. The list of recent downloads is stored only in your own browser, and you can clear it at any time. Our hosting and Cloudflare process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website, and our server counts requests per connection for up to ten minutes to stop abuse. The privacy policy explains how the app handles data.
6. Changes
We may update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
